Gaming with Science
Dr. Brian Kvitko is an associate professor of plant pathology at the University of Georgia, where he spends most of his time figuring out how bacteria try to kill plants and how plants try to stop them. When he isn't professoring, he hangs out with his equally nerdy wife and gamer sons. They all dabble in video games, board games, and tabletop RPGs. He listens to too many podcasts and watches too much YouTube.
Dr. Jason Wallace is an associate professor of crop & soil science at the University of Georgia. By day he studies how microbes in the environment help crops grow better. By night he plays board games, role-playing games, and/or Magic: the Gathering while raising a gaggle of geeky daughters and nerding out with his wife.
